This yet-to realised regional playspace proposes a wide range of play experiences of all ages including a 12-metre-high tower structure, splash pad with ground sprays, water play with pumps and weirs, and nature play. There is a fenced little kid’s area close to the main picnic pavilion and toilets, while the dedicated big kid’s area is located further away. Several picnic areas have been proposed to accommodate multiple groups at any one time. Shade sails and extensive new tree planting will cool the playground in the warmer months.
